As we gather each week for worship, it takes many of God’s people working together to get it done. You can be a part of worship as a greeter, reader, or communion support, just to name a few.
Greeter
A pleasant smile and warm handshake are all you need to bring with you. Arrive 20 minutes before worship to welcome people into the church. This role is good for individuals and families.
Scriptures & Prayers Reader
Do you have a love for reading, the ability to be in front of people and a good speaking voice? Anyone with these skills is able to share in worship to read the scriptures & prayers.
Communion Support
Set out the bread and wine beforehand, serve communion during and assist in the clean-up following worship. Anyone who receives communion is able to serve communion.
Communion/Offering
Collect and present the gifts of the congregation and also help where needed during the service of communion.
Worship Steward
Lights, doors, action! This job involves opening the church and making the building ready for worship, as well as assisting other volunteers in carrying out their roles during worship as needed.
Do you have a love for baking or want to share in preparing the sacraments for worship? Anyone is able to impact the experience of worship by preparing the bread. The recipe is provided and this role rotates on a monthly basis.
